Seattle Int'l Film Festival: A Veritable Cornucopia of True Crime

I would have to say, hands down, that the 2008 Seattle International Film Festival, which opens today, is the best festival for true crime features so far this year.

The amount of quality true crime documentaries, full-length features, and shorts that somehow encompass the world of true crime is outstanding and make all other film festivals pale in comparison.

Please do yourself a favor and visit the festival's website for more detailed descriptions, trailers, websites, and more.

Here are the true crime-based films I was able to glean from the extensive list of films:

Alone in Four Walls
Hold Me Tight, Let Me Go
If a Body Meet a Body
Kick Me
Making the River
Mr. Big
Sunday at Five
The End
The Last Word
They Killed Sister Dorothy
Tulia, Texas

Savage Grace
The Wave

Please let me know if you are able to catch one of these intriguing films.
