Lindsay Lohan to Star in New Charles Manson Film: Manson Girls

According to ET Online, celebuwreck Lindsay Lohan has inked a deal to star as Nancy "Brenda" Pittman (pictured left) in a new movie, Manson Girls.

Pittman was born into a fairly well-to-do family in Malibu, California. Interviewed in the 1973 docmentary Manson, Pittman said she left home at the age of sixteen because "I had nothing to keep me there. It wasn't a family; we just occupied the same house." She, of course, met up with Charles Manson and joined his so-called "Family."

Pittman was not invloved in the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders, however, she was arrested a couple of years later as an accomplice after the fact in the murder of Lauren Willett.

Lohan (pictured left) has turned 2008 into an interesting, if somewhat morbid year. Her recent turn as a nude Marilyn Monroe, her supporting role in Chapter 27 (which I wrote about on Wednesday) where she befriends John Lennon's killer, Mark David Chapman, and now the Manson movie.

I'm kind of liking the direction she's heading.
