Canterbury's Law Scripter Got Start in True Crime

Here's a nice college boy done good article about screenwriter Dave Erickson (pictured left). The 36-year-wunderkind has a new television series, Canterbury's Law, on Fox starring Julianna Margulies (ER). The series centers around Margulies' character, a defense lawyer with a troubled past, and has received critical acclaim.

Erickson got his start authoring several television movies based on true crime cases: Murder in Greenwich, The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story, and D.C. Sniper: 23 Days of Fear. He became known as "the true crime kid."

Canterbury's Law airs Mondays at 8:00pm on Fox.
